Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses to join our team working in the Toronto Area for our Long-Term care facilities. We’re ready when you are!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned. Your role involves fostering an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. Each assignment involves a full 8-hour shift at one facility. This is a casual position with flexible shifts.

Job Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
• Recent agency experience required (potential sign-on bonus)
• Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a medical-surgical Long Term Care setting within the past two years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire

Note: Due to recent government mandates, healthcare workers are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before starting. Successful candidates must submit proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
