Job summary

Hawkesbury and District General Hospital in Hawkesbury, ON is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Reserve Team on a 0.7 FTE basis. You will provide high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, applying your clinical judgment and nursing skills to support patients and families.

Candidates should hold a College of Nurses of Ontario registration (or eligibility), CPR, and recent hospital experience. Bilingual English/French abilities are an asset in this community.

IN TERMS OF ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL STAND OUT FROM THE REST IF YOU HAVE:

• A certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (or proof that you are eligible for registration), as well as a current CPR certification;
• Recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• You are familiar with various nursing techniques such as starting an IV, performing drainage, taking samples, changing dressings, etc.
