Job summary

Hawkesbury and District General Hospital in Hawkesbury, ON is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Room on a part-time basis (0.7 FTE). You will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ER, conduct initial assessments, implement and reassess care plans, and support a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include CNO registration or eligibility, current CPR, and 2+ years in an emergency department. Proficiency in English and French is essential to serve our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (or eligibility).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Recent hospital experience, especially in emergency departments.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment.

IN TERMS OF ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL STAND OUT FROM THE REST IF YOU HAVE:

• A certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (or proof that you are eligible for registration), as well as a current CPR certification;
• Recent clinical experience in a hospital setting, at least 2 years in an emergency department.
• You are familiar with various nursing techniques such as starting an IV, performing drainage, taking samples, changing dressings, etc.
