Job summary

Qualifications

• RPN Diploma from an accredited community college.
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required.
• Current B.C.L.S. (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
• Experience in a Medical Unit or similar environment is preferred.
• Current Medication Administration Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for stabilized patients.
• Administer treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Observe and enforce infection control principles and aseptic techniques.
• Demonstrate safe patient handling and documentation as required.
