Lakeridge Health Oshawa is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary part-time position in the Medicine program. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for stabilized patients, administer medications as ordered, and maintain infection control standards.
The role requires strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills with shifts across days, nights, and weekends. Applicants must have an RPN diploma, current BCLS, and a medication certificate.

According to the updated standards and current scope of practice as set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the policies of Lakeridge Health Corporation, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients whose conditions are stabilized; administer treatments as ordered by physicians and assigned by Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse; observe and enforce infection control principles and aseptic techniques required in the prevention of nosocomial and communicable diseases; and perform other related duties as assigned.
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and C.U.P.E Local 6364. Successful External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
