Lakeridge Health is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for the Rehab ISU, Medicine program in Oshawa. This temporary full-time position (6 months) requires assessing and caring for patients, administering treatments, and upholding infection control standards.

According to the updated standards and current scope of practice as set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the policies of Lakeridge Health Corporation, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients whose conditions are stabilized; administer treatments as ordered by physicians and assigned by Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse; observe and enforce infection control principles and aseptic techniques required in the prevention of nosocomial and communicable diseases; and perform other related duties as assigned.
