Job summary

Halton Healthcare in Milton, Ontario is seeking a part-time registered nurse to support complex transitional care populations. The role is permanent part-time with up to 0.40 FTE; shifts include rotating 12-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $36.08 to $39.02 per hour.

Location is Milton site with on-site work. Applicants must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, hold a Heart & Stroke BLS Provider Card, and bring experience in elderly care, medication administration, IV

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire.
• Experience caring for the elderly and administering medications.
• IV line maintenance, wound care and enteral feeding experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with complex transitional care populations in a hospital-based setting.
• Provide patient-centered care, maintain clear communication, and support teamwork.
• Ensure accurate electronic documentation and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire
• Experience working with and advocating for the elderly
• Medication administration certification and experience
• Physical assessment
• Wound care
• Enteral feeding experience
• Maintenance of IV lines
• Experience with electronic documentation
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
