Hammonds Plains Pharmacy in Hammonds Plains, NS is growing and seeks two NS Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. Full-time or part-time positions require NS Injection Permit and retail pharmacy experience. You love patient care, teamwork and working to full scope.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong prescription handling skills, including processing, labeling, and verifying prescriptions in a pharmacy setting.
• Candidates should possess pharmacy operations knowledge and experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a regulated environment.
• Candidates should possess inventory control skills, including ordering, receiving, organizing, and monitoring stock levels.
• Candidates should possess customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and support a welcoming pharmacy environment.
• Current registration or licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
• Comfort using pharmacy software, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer applications.
• Experience in a community pharmacy or retail healthcare environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with day-to-day duties in a retail pharmacy.
• Support patient care and answer inquiries with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels.
• Process prescriptions and ensure proper labeling and verification.
