Job summary

CareRx Corporation is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Burnaby, BC, to support safe drug distribution across long-term care facilities. You will assist with prep, packaging and distribution, ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic, and you will verify data entry in eMAR and Kroll.

The role emphasizes geriatrics and long-term care, requires BC registration (RPhT), and offers a stable, on-site work schedule with a Canadian employer.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer or word processing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions.
  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic.
  • Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information.
  • Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll.
  • Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a clean pharmacy environment.

CareRx is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in delivering safe and effective drug distribution services across multiple facilities. Role Accountabilities:
  • Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information,
  • Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll
  • Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring to The Team:
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT).
  • Knowledge of KROLL, PCC or Catalyst Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
  • Retail/Community/ Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated computer or work processing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $33- $36/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location: This is an on-site role located at 8525 Commerce Crt Burnaby, BC V5A4N3 and follows a five-day work week with weekend rotations.
