Triple Tee Medical Association in Saskatoon is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse to join a family medicine clinic.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager and supervising physician, the RN will provide safe, compassionate, client-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the health team, and support both acute and chronic care needs. This role supports a new Innovation Fund initiative to improve access to primary care across Saskatchewan, requiring a BSN and current CRNS registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) and ability to practice.
• Experience in community health or primary care is an asset.
• Proficient with EMR systems and documentation.

Triple Tee Medical Clinic is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager/Supervising Physician, the RN will be responsible for providing safe, compassionate and client-centered nursing care to patients within a family medicine clinic, supporting both acute and ongoing clinical needs. The Registered Nurse will work and collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to manage patient care plans,

chronic conditions, and seamless follow-up, while promoting patients' health, independence and well-being.

This position is part of a newly developed Innovation Fund between the Saskatchewan Government and medical clinics across Saskatchewan with the aim of improving patient access and quality care through team-based support, that will deliver better access to primary care in the province of Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within the RN scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and functional status and identify changes in patient condition.
• Recognize deterioration or potential health concerns and respond or expand appropriately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide safe, competent, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care.
• Promote patient dignity, privacy, independence, safety, and autonomy.
• Perform nursing procedures and clinical treatments within RN scope and individual competence.
• Administer medications safely according to policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Monitor medication effectiveness and adverse reactions and report medication concerns or errors promptly.
• Provide medication and health education to patients and families/caregivers.
• Perform clinical procedures, including wound care, injections, blood glucose monitoring, catheter care, specimen collection, cervical screening and chronic disease monitoring as authorized.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and care plans.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and patient self-management.
• Communicate patient changes promptly and accurately with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, current, and confidential EMR documentation, including assessments, interventions, medications, allergies, labs, and diagnostic results.
• Document patient responses to treatments and interventions and update care records appropriately.
• Promote infection prevention, workplace safety, and overall patient safety, including reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
• Recognize and report abuse, neglect, exploitation, and other risks according to professional and legal requirements.
• Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, dignity, privacy, and informed decision-making, while providing culturally respectful and inclusive care.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Current registration and good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) with the ability to practice within the RNs legislated and professional scope of practice.
• Experience in community health, case management, or a Primary Health Care setting is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge of primary care and chronic disease management as per CRNS guidelines and employer-approved protocols.
• Proficient in EMR systems including documentation, lab review, and medication reconciliation.
• Strong clinical observation and assessment skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage caseloads, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Follow applicable professional standards, legislation and clinic policies.
• Demonstrate accountability for professional decisions and nursing practices.
