Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Peterborough, ON is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The role focuses on comprehensive perioperative care, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative support, and post-operative evaluation.

You will work under the Ontario College of Nurses standards, hold CPR/BCLS, and bring OR experience. The position offers a supportive team, ongoing learning, and a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Postgraduate OR course or Perioperative Nursing Certificate with OR experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care from pre-operative to post-operative stages.
• Assist with intra-operative interventions and anesthesia support as applicable.
• Maintain patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with the OR team.
