Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Withdrawal Management Team at Invermere District Hospital in Invermere, BC. You will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.79 FTE). Shifts rotate days and nights from 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00 to cover 24/7 needs, offering stable hours and opportunities for professional growth within

  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates client care.
  • Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individuals and families respond to changing health care needs.
  • Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

  • Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About this Location

The Invermere & District Hospital is located in the heart of Invermere on Lake Windermere and has 8 acute care beds (2 with heart monitors), 1 Labour & Delivery room, a cast room and 36 residential beds. The Emergency Room has 12 stretchers and a 2 bay trauma room. The facility is walking distance to all 3 medical clinics and the retail/shopping district of the community, and both public beaches!
