Job summary

Interior Health Authority in Kamloops, BC, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the RIH Medical Inpatient 5South team at Royal Inland Hospital. This permanent full-time role involves patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and delivering client-centered care across day and night shifts.

Shifts rotate 07:30–19:30 and 19:30–07:30.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current credentials in British Columbia.
• Ability to perform accurate client assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and adapt to diverse clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care across settings.

About The Job

The Registered Nurse:

• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.00) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health.

5S is the Medical Inpatient floor at Royal Inland Hospital.
