Job summary

Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Inpatient Team at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC. You will provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working within an interdisciplinary team.

This role is a permanent full-time position with rotating day and night shifts (07:30–19:30 and 19:30–07:30). The successful candidate will bring reliability, flexibility, and motivation to the cardiac unit.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to cardiac patients, independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Supports patient and family quality of life; consults with other health care providers.
• Engages in continuous improvement and evidence-based nursing practice, maintaining and advancing clinical competence.
• Participates on hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area and is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals.

Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health.
