Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Complex Continuing Care and Palliative Medicine in Peterborough, ON. This part-time role requires current RN licensure in Ontario and a demonstrated ability to manage complex patient needs within a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will provide comprehensive care, promote health, and adhere to professional standards while supporting patients and families in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Glucometer certification required.
• Evacuation training preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Safe Patient Handling and Violence Prevention Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex continuing care needs and palliative care.
• Assess, plan, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Document care plans and patient responses accurately.
• Promote health and prevent illness following CN Ontario standards.
