Peterborough Regional Health Centre is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Complex Continuing Care and Palliative Medicine in Peterborough, Ontario. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying stability, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicant must have an active Ontario nursing license, BCLS, and experience in complex continuing care or palliative settings. PRHC offers a competitive compensation package, pension, on-site gym, and ongoing

Qualifications

  • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Glucometer certification required.
  • BCLS certification is required or soon after starting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in CCU/Palliative setting.
  • Promote health and prevent illness through nursing interventions.
  • Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and order entry in EPIC.
