Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking a Manager for B3 and the Clerical Pool on a temporary, part-time basis. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation. **WHAT YOU’LL DO:**Responsible to the Director of Medicine responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the smooth operations of patient care on B3. She/he will manage the Part Time Clerical Pool providing guidance, support and will facilitate best practices with respect to providing unit level support, service excellence for administrative B3 operations, and strong efficiency and stewardship practices for material management within PRHC. The primary role of the Manager will be to lead and support operations on B3 and the clerical team on a day-to-day basis. The Manager will participate in the development of policies and procedures in accordance with PRHC’s strategic initiatives and objectives, including meeting industry professional practice and quality standards. She /he will be responsible for providing clinical direction, quality improvement programs, and patient and staff safety programs.
