Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is seeking a Pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care for inpatients and selected outpatients in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will ensure safe, effective medication use, participate in dispensing responsibilities, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and the health team to optimize outcomes. Must hold a PharmD/Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and be licensed in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current license to practice in the province of Ontario.
• Hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to inpatients and pharmacy services to selected outpatients.
• Acts as a resource for health centre personnel and patients on medications.
• Supports medication dispensing and collaborates with clinicians to optimize therapy.
