We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Endoscopy Department.

Employment Details

• Employment Status: Temporary Part Time
• Duration: Until April 2026, subject to change
• Hours: 8-hour shifts on weekdays
• Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site
• Labour Group: ONA
• Reporting to: Manager, Endoscopy & PACU
• Hourly Rate: $39.07 - $56.00

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during pre- and post-procedure phases for diagnostic or screening endoscopies.
• Maintain accurate reports and records.
• Monitor and report patient symptoms and condition changes.
• Start IVs and assist physicians with endoscopy procedures.
• Proper use and care of endoscopic equipment.

Requirements

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BCLS certification (current and valid).
• Minimum two years recent experience in Endoscopy.
• Experience with Endoscopy video equipment and ERBE.
• Experience with ERCP (fluoroscopy) and certification in Gastroenterology Nursing preferred.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and venipuncture.
• Experience in post-anesthetic care.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent assessment, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to cover GI On-Call rotations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to excellent attendance and professionalism.
