The Ottawa Hospital (TOH), one of Canada's largest research and teaching hospitals, is seeking registered nurses for its Emergency Department training program. This role offers specialized training in emergency nursing, caring for both critical and non-critical patients in a fast-paced environment.
Inspired by research and driven by compassion, TOH provides specialized care to Eastern Ontario, with over 1,100 beds and 12,000 staff. The hospital is recognized nationally and internationally for high-quality patient care, research, and education, in collaboration with the University of Ottawa and other partners.
This opportunity is suitable for nurses without prior emergency experience. An orientation program will be provided, and a two-year commitment is required. The initial 3 months involve full-time hours to complete the Novice Nurse Program.
Days and nights, including weekends, 12-hour shifts.
