Are you seeking an exciting LPN/RPN experience in Canada's remote northern communities? Bayshore HealthCare’s Northern Staffing program has provided high-quality community health care solutions to Canada's North since 1997. Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), providing care to community members. We hire passionate team members from all over Canada who travel on assignments to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. We offer a unique opportunity to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks.

The work you will do:

  • Work in a team atmosphere in busy clinics or health centres within an expanded scope of practice, providing healthcare services to all patients for trauma and primary care, including emergencies and traumas, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics.
  • Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan.
  • Ensure that the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety of clients are met to the greatest extent within the scope of practice on an ongoing basis.

Who You Are:

  • You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing.
  • You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work.
  • You meet the required work experience.
  • Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during the interview.
