Job summary

Goodwill Staffing & Recruitment seeks a dynamic Registered Nurse to provide care across the Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit and Obstetrics, working to full scope as part of a collaborative team.

The position offers day, evening and night shifts (12-hour), with weekend and holiday coverage; Ontario registration with CNO is required, along with current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications and relevant ER/medical-surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and CTAS related certifications are assets.
• Recent experience in emergency, medical/surgical nursing and related care.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

About Job

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and patient-focused Registered Nurse to provide care across the Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit and Obstetrics department. The successful candidate will work to their full scope of practice as part of a collaborative healthcare team and will cross-train between departments to build a diverse clinical skill set.

Schedule and Compensation

• Hours: Days, evenings and nights; 12-hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.


• Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.


• Hourly wage range: $41.15-$58.98.


• Full time/ Part time availability

Qualifications

• Current registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
