Job summary

Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) is seeking a qualified nurse with a current Ontario license to provide high-quality patient care in an acute setting. The candidate must hold a College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence, ACLS, and coronary care certification or be willing to attain them within six months.

At least one year of acute care experience is required, along with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current ACLS and Coronary Care Certificate or willingness to attain within six months.
• Minimum of one year acute care experience in an active treatment setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
• Knowledge of the Nursing Process and the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently at times without supervision.
• Good assessment, judgement, decision-making and documentation skills.
