The RN will provide nursing care to promote health and recovery, collaborating with RPNs to deliver safe, effective care on a 40-bed unit that handles orthopaedic and urological cases. The role requires current Ontario RN registration, recent acute surgical inpatient experience, BCLS/HCP certification, and strong communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Recent acute surgical inpatient experience within the last year (orthopaedic or urological preferred).
• Current BCLS/HCP certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge, sensitivity and expertise in care of seniors and families.
• Strong communication with patients, families and healthcare team.

Our highly skilled and dedicated interdisciplinary health professional team work collaboratively to provide care of patients in order to help restore and maintain function as quickly and safely as possiblePosition SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care for clients to promote health and assess need for provision of care and treatment of health conditions by supportive preventive therapeutic palliative and rehabilitation means in order to attain or maintain optimal function. A high level of collaboration between RN and RPN is required to ensure safe and effective care.
