Job summary

You must hold an accredited nursing education program and be eligible for CRNA registration, with BCLS-HCP plus ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC/ENPEP where possible, and prior charge nurse experience

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Emergency Nursing Provincial Education Program (ENPEP).
• Minimum 2 years charge nurse experience.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

As this facility cares for a variety of clients experience or training in palliative care is beneficial. Experience as a charge nurse as is previous work as an RN in a rural setting. The following is also preferred: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Fetal Heart Surveillance (FHS) training in LEAD II.
