Medcan Health Management Inc. in Markham is seeking a full-time Clinic Nurse (RN) to deliver screening and primary care nursing services at the 600 Cochrane Drive clinic.
This role also functions as Nurse Consultant, guiding patients with education and support while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will perform immunizations, venipuncture, and standard nursing procedures, and may travel to the Toronto clinic for training.
Medcan is recruiting for a full‑time Clinic Nurse (RN) to join our clinic in Markham. We are seeking an experienced and client‑focused professional with a great attitude who can work independently and as part of a team. The role is accountable for the effective delivery of screening and primary care nursing services for clients during their clinic appointments and other Medcan services. This role also includes work as a Nurse Consultant, acting as the main point of contact for patients providing guidance, education and support. The role works closely with a small multi‑disciplinary team of physicians and client coordinators to provide timely communication of results and follow up care to the client. This position is located at Medcan’s Markham location at 600 Cochrane Drive.
This is a permanent full‑time position working 8.5‑hour shifts with a 30‑minute unpaid break during business hours. Shifts will be scheduled Monday‑Saturday, with the expectation of 1‑2 Saturday shifts per month. This role sits primarily at our Markham clinic but requires flexibility to commute to our Toronto clinic at 150 York St. for training periods. Training requirements will be discussed in further detail if you are selected for an interview.
Pay is determined based on your RN registration date.
The above figures are based on an annual full‑time salary. All amounts are in CAD. Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within our nursing grid. Medcan’s compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
