Job summary

CBI Health's Mobility Orthopaedic Rehab Centre in Brantford, ON, is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team as an independent contractor. You will build and grow your massage therapy practice within a well-supported rehabilitation setting.

Applicants must be CMTO registered, capable of working independently and with a team, and have relevant experience. Fee split is 65%–70%, with excellent admin support and flexible hours to support client care.

Qualifications

• CMTO registration in good standing or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in massage therapy is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treat clients referred for massage therapy.
• Contribute to a rehabilitation team providing massage therapy as part of overall care.
• Communicate goals and expectations of treatment to clients and the treatment team.
• Maintain records of assessments and treatment notes.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Perform assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What you need to be successful

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) or equivalent
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations.
• Relevant experience is a definite an asset.
