Job summary

CBI Health in Burlington, ON is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to grow your practice as an independent contractor within our rehabilitation setting. You will have ample opportunity to build and develop your massage therapy business while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

We offer flexible hours, competitive compensation with a 65%–70% fee split, and strong administrative support to focus on patient care. Prior CMTO registration is required, and experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with CMTO or equivalent.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in massage therapy is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treat clients referred for massage therapy.
• Contribute to the rehabilitation team as part of overall care.
• Communicate goals and treatment expectations to clients and team.
• Maintain records of assessments and treatment notes.

About this opportunity

As a Registered Massage Therapist based at our Burlington Health Centre, you’ll have ample opportunity to build and grow your massage therapy business as an independent contractor in a well-supported rehabilitation setting.

Fee split:65%–70%

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Perform assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What you need to be successful

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) or equivalent
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations.
• Relevant experience is a definite an asset.
