Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to work with teachers and families, delivering a BrightPath-aligned program and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children. You will assess progress, communicate with families, and collaborate across teams.

The role requires an RECE in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE, plus First Aid/CPR and health clearances. Competitive benefits are offered with a strong emphasis on professional development.

Qualifications

• RECE credential and Ontario College of ECE membership required.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment ensuring children's well-being.
• Assess children's abilities and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Foster collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Keep classroom materials organized and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
