BrightPath Kids in Georgetown, ON is hiring an Early Childhood Educator to develop and implement our curriculum and support children’s growth. You will maintain a safe learning environment and communicate progress with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• RECE credential in good standing with Ontario College of ECE.
• Meets provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom, ensuring wellbeing of children.
• Assess children's abilities and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Foster collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $17.95 - $20 per hour, Government Wage Enhancement offered on top of hourly pay

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• RegisteredEarly Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
