Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Registered Early Childhood Educator at the Mill Street Centre in ON. The role focuses on providing a home-away-from-home environment for children, delivering a BrightPath-aligned curriculum, and collaborating with families and staff.

No evenings or weekends, with opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement. Experience as an ECE is required, with a minimum of 2+ years.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an ECE.
• Must be a registered Early Childhood Educator.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children.
• Assess abilities and needs of children and discuss progress with families.
• Establish collaborative relationships with colleagues and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side‑by‑side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well‑being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
