Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Avondale Centre, ON is seeking a ContractRegistered Early Childhood Educator for a 4-month full-time contract. No evenings or weekends. Competitive hourly pay with Government Wage Enhancement and a discount in childcare for staff.

You will work with teachers and families to provide a home-like environment for children, following BrightPath's curriculum and standards.

Qualifications

• RECE membership in good standing with Ontario College of ECE.
• Must meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Assess abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a ContractRegistered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

Responsibilities include:
