Market Mall Dental Care in Calgary, part of Dentalcorp Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented practice. The role focuses on preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists, taking X-rays, and maintaining strict infection control while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will support scheduling, patient flow, and education on oral hygiene, contributing to a high-quality care experience in a modern clinic with advanced technology.

Qualifikationen

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 11:15 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.
• Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• One Saturday per month: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
