Job summary

Cornerstone Dental at High Street in NE Calgary is a modern practice focused on patient comfort and quality care. We are part of the dentalcorp network and offer growth through education and technology.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will prepare rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, maintain infection control, update charts, and support scheduling. Work Friday and Saturday 7:30 am–3:15 pm with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X‑rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high‑quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
