Cornerstone Dental Wellness in Okotoks is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and manage patient flow with a patient-centered approach.

You will perform X-rays, ensure infection control per IPAC standards, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and safety. Join a team focused on quality care and professional growth.

Competenze

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Schedule:

• Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Wednesday & Thursday 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Saturdays (1 per month): 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Your Role

• Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired

• Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour

About You

• Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired
• Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
