The New Minas Dental Centre is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team serving the New Minas community. You will support dentists and hygienists, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays, and uphold IPAC standards to ensure patient comfort and safety.

We offer a full-time schedule (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM) with competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth within our growing practice, leveraging modern technology and patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Active RDA registration with provincial body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments and maintain patient comfort.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards.
• Update patient charts and educate on oral hygiene.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care.
• Follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships with ethical professional behaviour.

Your Role:

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour.

About You:

• Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired.
• Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred.
