Classic Freight Transport in Canada is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across provinces. You will manage route planning, ensure cargo safety, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate documentation for hours of service.

Responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries, loading and unloading goods, and coordinating with dispatch to optimize deliveries.

Qualifications

2–3 years of trucking experience.
Valid Class 1/A license and Air Brakes endorsement.
Experience with long-haul provincial routes.

Responsibilities

Plan or adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and emissions.
Address customers' complaints.
Load and unload goods.
Operate and drive tractor-trailers.
Inspect vehicle condition (tires, lights, brakes).

Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
