Job summary

Hallcon Corporation is seeking a Field Operations Manager in Ontario to coordinate daily field activities and ensure safe, reliable transportation services. You will lead, train, and coach site Supervisors and Drivers while aligning staffing with demand and safety standards.

Role involves regional travel up to 75%, on-site management across locations, and collaboration with Fleet and Field Operations to resolve service issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years management experience in transportation, logistics or similar industry.
• Knowledge of Employment Law.
• Clear understanding of English language.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Valid Driver's License with limited violations in 3 years and nomajor infractions.
• Willing to travel regionally up to 75% of the time.
• Working knowledge of computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across locations to ensure safe, timely transportation service.
• Staff and schedule locations to maximize vehicle utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Provide road or yard driving support as needed to maintain service continuity.
• Coach and hold accountable site supervisors, location supervisors and drivers.
• Hire, onboard, and train employees on responsibilities and safety standards.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate staffing, safety training, and payroll-related documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customer field leadership and internal teams.
