Job summary

Magna IV Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in Calgary, Alberta. You will build client relationships, identify opportunities, and communicate Magna IV's engineering solutions across Western Canada.

Leading regional sales, you will collaborate with Operations, PM, Engineering, and Marketing to craft proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals while traveling about 25% to meet clients and support BD activities.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in technical sales or related sales leadership role.
• Strong understanding of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical equipment and power delivery systems.
• Experience with electrical testing, commissioning, maintenance, or power systems is preferred.
• Experience selling technical services within data centers or industrial sectors is an asset.
• Established relationships within Alberta electrical, utility, industrial, or power systems markets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategy for Alberta markets across data centers, renewable energy, utilities, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and Marketing to transition sold work into execution.
• Travel approximately 25% to meet clients, attend events, and support business development.
