Job summary

Summit Search Group is partnering with an innovative Canadian cleantech manufacturer in the search for a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across Canada and the Northern United States. The role focuses on selling solar-powered outdoor lighting to engineers, municipalities, and distributors while managing end‑to‑end opportunities.

Based in British Columbia with regular travel, you’ll own the territory, build strategic partnerships, present solutions, and drive revenue through channel partners

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in lighting or related electrical products.
• Strong technical understanding of lighting products and specifications.
• Experience selling through distributors or channel partners.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow territories.
• Experience with engineers, municipalities, contractors, or commercial stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Independently manage a large geographic territory and CRM records.
• Valid driver’s license and passport with willingness to travel Canada/USA.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow sales across Canada and the Northern United States to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, prospect, and expand new business while strengthening existing relationships.
• Build partnerships with distributors, electrical wholesalers, and manufacturers’ reps.
• Develop relationships with municipalities, engineers, developers, and end users.
• Lead technical presentations and customer meetings to showcase solar lighting solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions matching customer needs.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity tracking, and customer records in Salesforce.
• Represent the company at events and travel regularly within the territory.
