Qualifications

Regional Sales Manager – Southwestern Ontario

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all sales, marketing and customer service functions within the assigned region. The Regional Sales Manager prepares and implements sales and promotional strategies to ensure that sales benefits are maximized. They are the primary contact for their designated accounts and will establish relationships with them. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing their territory like it was their very own business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for meeting and achieving budget targets, territory planning, reporting
  2. Face to Face training and demonstrations as needed in clinic
  3. Patient troubleshooting in clinic as needed
  4. Plans, schedules and maintains contact with customers.
  5. Responsible for building strategic partnerships and growing Phonak share of wallet
  6. Responsible for implementing and growing value added service programs in the territory
  7. Provides training and support for clinicians
  8. Organizes and conducts presentations for seminars and conventions.
  9. Keeps abreast of recent technological changes
  10. Works in collaboration with other departments in establishing strategic initiatives and plan of actions to support the growth in Territory.
  11. Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Director

More about you:

  1. Bachelors degree, Degree in business, sales, marketing preferred
  2. Background in medical, technical product or audiology preferred
  3. Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, experience in field sales management and supervision a plus
  4. Experience selling technical products in the Medical Device industry preferred
  5. Detail oriented with excellent organizational, time-management and follow through skills
  6. Self-motivated and competitive
  7. Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  8. Team player
  9. Strong focus on building customer relationships
  10. Ability to understand audiology technology
  11. Willingness to travel overnight frequently
  12. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  13. Experience with CRM, Salesforce preferred

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.
