JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager - Canada (Mental & Behavioural Health Solutions)

LOCATION: Toronto, Remote based.

WORKING HOURS: 7.30am - 4.30pm

About the Role

Pineapple is expanding into the North American mental health and behavioural health market and has ambitious growth plans for our globally renowned product.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee business operations across Canada, owning the country's sales strategy. Your responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and supporting tender processes.

You will excel at building strong relationships with strategic clients and proactively developing new business opportunities. Identifying client needs and promoting sales effectively will be key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage sales activities for Canada.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major existing clients.
  • Understand client needs thoroughly.
  • Lead efforts to generate new sales and foster long-term relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, organize meetings, and follow up on leads.
  • Log all sales and client activities in our CRM system.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the region.
  • Build a pipeline for future work to maximize revenue.
  • Stay informed about industry trends influencing decision-making.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solution-based proposals.
  • Create sales presentations and tender documents for new business.
  • Present at monthly sales meetings.
  • Prepare strategy documents for top accounts.
  • Attend key industry events as needed.
  • Gather client feedback to assist in developing new products.
Minimum Requirements
  • Attend 24 quality face-to-face appointments per month with decision makers; virtual meetings can supplement.
  • Make 500 calls monthly, establishing connections with at least 150 decision makers.
  • Ability to work remotely efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, often with short notice, including overnight stays (approx. 2 days/week).
  • Experience in business development or commercial sales.
  • Target-driven, capable of nurturing existing relationships and winning new business.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
