Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Vice President, Regional Sales (External Wholesaler) to expand presence in Canada’s retail wealth market. You will build and deepen relationships with financial advisors across the Greater Toronto Area, collaborating with AVP Regional Sales and internal teams to deliver investment insights and opportunities across mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and alternatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in investment management or financial services.
• Proven success selling mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools like Morningstar, Bloomberg and YCharts.
• Comfortable with CRMs, video conferencing, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales and activity targets.
• Support 700 advisory relationships mainly in downtown and mid-town Toronto.
• Identify and communicate product opportunities.
• Participate in team meetings and align strategies.
• Build lasting relationships and understand evolving client needs.
• Deliver presentations that clearly communicate product value.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless client service.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes.
• Represent Franklin Templeton at industry events.
• Uphold compliance and ethical standards.
