Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a meticulous Regional Procurement Manager in Ontario to own end-to-end project purchasing, from budget through RFPs, vendor selection, and startup. You’ll bridge the Global Strategy team with construction teams, ensuring every PO is accurate and every delivery tracked to the day.

The role demands exceptional organization, a focus on schedules, and hands-on coordination of submittals, logistics, and commissioning activities across multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Procurement, Project Management, or Supply Chain in Data Center, Industrial Construction, or Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of requisition process and GL coding, AIA documentation, and data-center mechanical/electrical components.
• Expert-level skills in Procore, NetSuite, or similar project management/ERP software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to manage up and hold vendors to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Budget Lifecycle Management: Partner with Construction, Accounting and Finance to create and manage project procurement budgets and cashflows.
• RFP Ownership: Lead the RFP process for regional trades and equipment, including scoping, vendor invitations, bid leveling, and award recommendations.
• PO Administration: Oversee issuance of POs and ensure alignment with MPAs and project terms.
• Technical Submittal Management: Act as traffic controller for submittals between vendors and Engineering to avoid delays.
• Supply Chain Risk Reporting: Maintain real-time dashboards on vendor performance and lead-time volatility.
• Logistics & Delivery Tracking: Cradle-to-grave tracking of all OFCI equipment across sites.
• Startup & Commissioning (Cx) Coordination: Schedule vendor technicians for startup and ensure close-out docs are filed.
