Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Construction to support the legal needs of the company’s data center construction and development program. Reporting to the VP, Legal, this role will lead contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management across construction, procurement, and supply chain agreements supporting Prime’s growing pipeline of data center builds.

Qualifications

• J.D. and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years drafting and negotiating construction, procurement, or supply chain agreements.
• Experience with data center, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial construction and procurement agreements.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers balancing risk, timelines and costs.
• Manage outside counsel and enforce scope, quality, and spend.
• Develop standard-form contracts, playbooks, and templates.
• Advise business stakeholders on construction-related risk.
• Partner with Construction, Design, and Procurement teams to move deals forward.
