About this Opportunity:

This exciting role is a key management position for our branches in Starbuck, Carman, Altona, Letellier, Dominion City. This position ensures that all aspects of leading a brokerage office are coordinated and performed effectively. The Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring that all identified growth; budget and sales plans are achieved. The Regional Manager also leads and supports branch employees in delivering superior customer service experience with technical capability and efficiency. An essential requirement of this position is to ensure that all insurance requirements, rules, regulations, and risk management are understood and adhered to by all employees.

Performance Objectives:

• Oversees the retention and growth of all Personal Lines & Auto Business for the branch; including all customer and book management requirements (changes to policy, timely renewals, receivables etc.) are managed, delivered on time and on budget, reviewing all new policies and cancellations.
• Responsible for Advisor check-in meetings to provide instruction, coaching, ongoing performance feedback, development, and leadership.
• Communicates and supports company initiatives and goals as communicated by senior leadership.
• Ensures all employee training and education (skills and industry/technical) is supported.
• Ensures high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning
• Inspires, orchestrates, and pioneer superior retailing excellence to deliver a memorable client experience
• Coaches the team on client advice and education, problem resolution and prevention at first point of contact
• Participates and provides input in the development of Annual Business plans and growth targets.
• Ensures active participation in community or industry associations as identified in order to develop leads, increase Insurance
• Expertise, expand network and to contribute to the development of ONE Insurance Group's Broker reputation as Industry Leaders.
• Participates in initiatives that support ONE’s Because We Care Charitable Campaigns
• Develops and supports the adoption of branch processes that ensure quality customer service is provided at all times

Qualifications/Skills:

• Previous demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Minimum Level 3 General Insurance License - CAIB designation or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate well and lead change
• Ability to work effectively with the leadership team across Manitoba collaborating on projects that move the business forward
• Demonstrated experience with Autopac and Personal Lines insurance is an asset.
• Experience with EPIC is considered an asset.
• Organized and efficient with the ability to multitask.
• Flexibility and a positive approach with effective communication skills.
