Job summary

Alquemy is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics Operations to lead regional logistics and transportation, ensuring efficient service delivery, safety, and quality. You will oversee local managers, support strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in logistics with 5–7+ years in leadership across multiple locations. You will manage budgets, develop processes, monitor KPIs, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years in logistics/transportation operations.
• 5–7+ years of management experience across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of WHMIS, TDG, and transport safety regulations.
• TDG certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with strategic projects, budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with critical or time-sensitive delivery operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day regional logistics and transportation operations.
• Coach local managers and operational teams across multiple locations.
• Develop operational strategies, processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and cost management.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, performance goals, service levels, and operational standards.
• Lead employee training, engagement, recognition, and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, HR, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional projects and strategic operational initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve performance and efficiency.
• Maintain strong customer service and stakeholder relationships.
