Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Inc seeks a seasoned Health, Safety & Environment (HSS&E) Leader to guide regional asset management safety programs across renewable and energy assets. You will lead programs, coach teams, and ensure compliance with Brookfield standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include executing due diligence for acquisitions, conducting gap analyses, coordinating training, reporting metrics, and fostering a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of Health & Safety experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in complex safety incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Ability to influence without authority at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as HSS&E subject matter expert for regional Asset Management.
• Support regional portfolio companies in implementing HSS&E programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead HSS&E due diligence for potential acquisitions.
• Coordinate and conduct HSS&E gap analyses for newly acquired businesses.
• Assist Asset Managers in planning inspections to ensure Brookfield safety standards.
• Provide training and coaching on HSS&E program requirements.
• Coordinate HSS&E reporting to Brookfield Corporate.
• Coordinate HSS&E investigations and audits across Brookfield Renewable businesses.
