Position Summary:

Are you a self-motivated, value-driven servant leader who finds meaning in leading others and making a difference? If so, we invite you to consider this opportunity. Reporting to the Senior Director Operations and an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • Model Covenant’s mission, vision, and values consistently and representing Covenant professionally and positively.
  • Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Engage and mobilize teams towards fulfilling Covenant’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the operational success and financial sustainability of assigned communities.
  • Lead teams to create memorable experiences and moments that matter.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to grow in their leadership effectiveness and impact.
  • Guide the use of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
  • Equip leaders and teams to consistently pursue continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements and standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Oversee and escalate emerging issues, critical incidents, and concerns to ensure timely response, resolution, and organizational alignment.
  • Support marketing, branding, and community engagement efforts to enhance Covenant’s visibility and reputation.
  • Lead and execute strategic initiatives and projects across communities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Attributes for Success:

Baccalaureate level of preparation in Business Administration or a related Health Sciences field is required or other relevant education, training or experience. Additional preparation at a master's level is considered an asset.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and values-aligned operational leader with a proven track record in continuing care or a related healthcare setting. You bring strong business acumen, excellent communication and relational skills, and the ability to lead through complexity with compassion and clarity. A background in long-term care, supportive living, or hospice is an asset, along with experience in leading diverse teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Most importantly, you are energized by purpose, inspired by people, and grounded in servant leadership.
