Account Manager – Parallels

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager responsible for an assigned territory in the Toronto/GTA market. (please note that we will only consider candidates from the GTA). The candidate will help us change the way the world works, with Parallels and its anytime, anywhere, any-device productivity. Here, you’ll use your fearless hunting mentality to drive the Parallels go-to-market strategy by hunting, closing, and managing end-user, customer, and partner accounts.

As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Hunt, close, and manage end-user, customer, and partner accounts to grow revenue.
  • Recruit, secure, and onboard new ISV, MSP, and CSP partners to expand our partner network.
  • Work with new channel and service provider partners to ensure onboarding, technical training/certification, and understanding of the Parallels sales process and Partner Portal.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by selling Parallels products to new and existing customers, resellers, and partners.
  • Implement sales strategies, maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create materials that expand brand presence.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities, accurately forecast pipeline commitments.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives from idea to market success.

What YOU bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of sales experience exceeding targets in a technology channel and B2B environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working with channel partners and developing partner alliances.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with creativity and outside-the-box thinking.
  • Commitment to achieving quotas and professional growth.
  • Humility, coachability, teamwork, and openness to new ideas.
  • Attention to detail, ability to learn and follow sales processes, and proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Ability to execute strategic sales plans for long-term business development.
  • Leadership qualities: listening, self-drive, accountability, and results orientation.

The following are assets but not required:

  • Advanced understanding of virtualization solutions like Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft RDS, and CSP programs.
  • Ability to articulate the value of virtualization, cloud, DaaS, SaaS, VDI, and mobility solutions.
  • Knowledge of MDM, device management tools, and sales tools like Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense.
